Very likely, we are a family, just like yours -- we love the beach. Always have ... probably always will.
We have dreamed of owning a place on the beach for as long as I can remember.
I graduated from Southern Methodist University with an Economics degree in 1976. After 20+ years as an investment analyst -- and for the last ten years specializing in healthcare service companies -- I left the big Wall Street firm to start my own company.
My research as been recognized by the Wall Street Journal -- twice -- as among the best in the industry. In 1995, I was named the #1 healthcare analyst in the country.
My clients always said that I could see investment opportunity where others couldn't. I've found over the years that investment opportunity almost always is created by what I call an "inflection point".
At an "inflection point", something is about to change. Normally very few see the change at first, then it later becomes obvious to all.
In my view, Grand Cayman is at an inflection point. The combination of the completion of rebuilding after Hurricane Ivan, along with resumption of significant growth in tourism and the coming tripling of the Island's airport facilities is very powerful. The demand for high quality real estate should increase sharply in the very near future -- yet real estate prices are often less than many cities in Florida.
I've been an analyst my entire career -- and I think I've identified a great opportunity. Cayman has the attributes that the next generation of Caribbean real estate buyers want. I think in the next five to ten years, Cayman will emerge as the #1 hot spot for real estate price appreciation in the Caribbean.

Below are pictures of two of my children rescuing a turtle that had been caught up in a fishing net. After cutting the turtle out of its entanglement, they released the turtle back into the Caribbean Sea.
